You just have to remember one thing…

Not everyone has the same heart as you.

I’ve learned this lesson a few years ago.

No matter what you do for someone, no matter how soft you touch someone’s heart, you can never expect to receive the same treatment.

If you feel like you’re swimming oceans for people who wouldn’t swim a lake for you, just remember not everyone has the same heart as you…but keep swimming anyway!

  2. Sure 🙂 I learned the hard way. Anyway, it is what it is. Kinda f*k up sometimes. However, what can you do if you are good natured and it is hard for you to say no. 😦

  4. This is so true, expectations lead often to disappointment
    But for me there are categories, if I’m doing something good for the sake of good, then no expectations
    If I care for someone and I discovered it’s one sided care, I stop immediately so I don’t reach a point to regret what I did , or I must accept the fact that what I’m doing is only one sided and as humans we’re not saints to be honest
    This is how I see it 🙂 thank you for sharing

    1. Very well said…you make a good point when you say there are no expectations when you are doing it for the sake of good. It’s good that you know when someone isn’t loyal to you. Not many people know the difference between loyalty and treachery. Which makes it difficult to avoid being taken advantage of. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. 🙂

      1. Yes I‘m intuitive and I can sense people’s feelings, I can read them very easily and if not, their actions will always reveal the truth
